My eyes clear and I find myself staring up threw a hole seemingly punched through the clouds at a sky streaked with the fading colors of what must be a marvelous setting sun dull pinks, yellows, and oranges steak over the hole and slowly fade to darkness. When the last drops of color fade from the sky I lower my head and for the first time look around me I'm in the eye of what seems to be a hurricane but instead of rain there’s snow, instead of seas I stand upon level ground as far as the eye can see in any direction covered in snow, while it seems to be a hurricane I know I'm really in the middle of a monstrous blizzard. As I come to realize this and the last of the light fades I see something I missed before flowers stretching from horizon to horizon yet unlike any real flowers these while having stems and leaves have small flames on the tops so as darkness encroaches the land turns into a star field and I'm left breathless. For a time I stare at the flowers bending with the wind and snow when I come to the conclusion that I want one of the flowers and I step forward to pick one, no sooner does my hand cross the eye wall then the eye of the blizzard disappears as if never  there.  There’s only seconds before the full force of the blizzard hits me like a plane crash. I hunch my shoulders and shiver in cold and fear and look down to see I'm standing right over the flower I was going to pick and go numb in shock and stare at it and all the others around me in horror as I watch their stems freeze then snap in the wind falling into the snow and extinguishing themselves, like a ripple this happens to the horizon till the last one falls and goes out.

I woke up at that point feeling like I was falling and full of what I believe primal terror this only lasted a few seconds maybe even a minute but knew I had to write/ type it down so I did.
